Bio


S. Camille Comer was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she recieved her BFA at Middle Tennessee State University.  Camille attended workshops at Cannonsburg for blacksmithing and a reductive woodcut workshop at Arrowmont, both craft schools in Tennessee.  Camille also created a public work in Woodbury, Tennessee for The Cannon County Arts Commission.  Camille was the assistant to Michael Baggarly for the Saturday’s at Todd aluminum casting workshops from 2019 to 2023, and was Middle Tennessee State University’s Metal shop technician from 2021 to 2023.  Camille is also the Visual Arts Production Coordinator for Tennessee’s Governor’s School For The Arts 2023 to 2024 and before that was a counselor for the same program for 2019, 2021, and 2022.  Now Camille is a MFA candidate and Drawing Instructor for Washington State University and is expected to graduate in 2026.
